The present invention provides a new technique which is constructed for each facility (e.g., electric wires, electric poles, etc.) and focused on detecting an occurrence of bird nests by detecting/determining the presence or absence of nests which are made by birds and reporting the same to the center in real time. According to a first aspect of the present invention, a bird nest occurrence reporting system comprises: an ultrasonic sensor for measuring a distance based on a supersonic wave with respect to a surveillance area; an infrared sensor for detecting the presence or absence of an organism with respect to the surveillance area; and a control unit for activating the ultrasonic sensor to measure the distance when a specific condition due to the detection of the living organism of the infrared sensor is satisfied, and determining that when the measured distance is different from the pre-stored normal distance with respect to the surveillance area, a bird nest is generated in the surveillance area.
