According to an embodiment of the present invention, a thermal imaging apparatus and a method for providing thermal image analysis information using the same are provided. The thermal imaging apparatus comprises: a thermal imaging unit for sensing thermal energy in a specific region from an optical signal of an infrared wavelength band incident through a lens and outputting a thermal image signal indicating a temperature distribution in the specific region based on the sensed thermal energy; an image analyzing unit for analyzing the thermal image signal to generate thermal image analysis information indicating whether a risk element exists in the specific region; and an image processor for compressing the thermal image signal to transmit the compressed thermal image signal and the thermal image analysis information to a service providing apparatus through a communication interface.
