The present invention is a method and a device for tracking a common cause failure in an integrated drawing for detecting entities affected by the common cause failure automatically using the integrated drawing and analyzing the common cause failure. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for tracking a common cause failure in an integrated drawing comprises the steps of: composing the entities assigned with at least one property inside a design drawing as a systematic unit for tracking the common cause failure; generating the integrated drawing having a systematic structure by interconnecting horizontally and vertically the entities assigned with the same property inside the at least one design drawing; displaying a spread path of the failure in the integrated drawing using an inner tracker and showing state information of entities on the spread path of the failure by a diagram.
