The present invention relates to a smart substation system and a server for a smart substation system which can efficiently monitor a state of a smart transformer. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the smart substation system comprises: the smart transformer having a sensor for sensing temperature; and the server for a smart substation system for sensing whether the smart transformer is normally operated by comparing the temperature provided by a temperature sensor with the appropriate temperature predicted to be represented by the transformer due to calories generated by normally operating the smart transformer to perform transformation.
