According to techniques described in the present invention, there are provided an apparatus of publishing content and a method thereof, capable of generating a publishing code by analyzing elements contained in an image file and automatically generating a design guide. According to one aspect of the present invention, the apparatus includes: an element extracting unit for extracting a first element of a first image file including the first element; an element attribute analyzing unit for analyzing the first element to obtain an attribute of the first element; and a publishing code generation unit for generating a publishing code for the first image file based on the attribute of the first element. The publishing code includes a first publishing code and a second publishing code. The publishing code generation unit generates the first publishing code by automatically converting the first element based on the attribute of the first element and generates the second publishing code based on the attributes of the first element and the user input.
