A method and a system for providing an optimal coupon at a payment point are provided. According to embodiments of the present invention, an advertisement method includes the steps of: storing and managing a payment using history for each user and advertisement execution information for each advertiser in a database; receiving payment information of a user to progress a payment through a payment system included in an advertisement system; generating an available coupon when the user progresses the payment based on the payment using history and the advertisement execution information searched in the database through the received payment information of the user; and providing information on the generated coupon to the user.
