The present invention relates to a topical preparation specifically binding to a myelin basic protein and a method of determining myelination in a subject by detecting a drug present in the subject using the topical preparation. The present invention also provides a kit containing the above agent or a derivative thereof for use in the detection of myelin basic protein.
