The present invention relates to an actuating device for a stage curtain with a scene change function, and more specifically, to an actuating device for a stage curtain with a scene change function, which includes a medium for transferring rotary power of a power generating means to a curtain through a chain so that the curtain having various images, patterns and designs on the outer surface thereof can circulate and rotate, thereby preventing malfunction of the device by operating through correct power transmission. Moreover, the actuating device for a stage curtain can prevent a sag of the chain due to a long-term use and allow a user to easily repair and replace the chain by allowing the user to easily adjust tension of the chain. Furthermore, the actuating device for a stage curtain can show various displays since the curtain of an oval shape on which various images, patterns or designs are expressed. The actuating device for a stage curtain includes: a plurality of connectors mounted and fixed on the ceiling; a base bracket having a transfer rail of an oval shape; a power generating means for providing rotary power to circulate and rotate a curtain when external power is applied; a driving sprocket combined with the power generating means; a driven sprocket combined with a connection shaft mounted at an end of the base bracket to rotate freely; a chain connected between the driving sprocket and the driven sprocket; a curtain connector disposed between the transfer rail and the curtain to slide along the transfer rail; and a connection link disposed between the chain and the curtain connector for transferring driving power to the curtain connector.
