The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a flame-retardant foam insulation which comprises the steps of: preparing a flame-retardant composition including a porous base material, starch, a water-based binder, and a flame retardant; coating the flame-retardant composition on a synthetic resin bead; injecting the synthetic resin bead coated with the flame-retardant composition into a bulk container; foaming and molding by applying steam to the synthetic resin bead injected into the bulk container; and cutting a molded synthetic resin foam to manufacture insulation.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
