Disclosed is a method for repairing a pipe using a protection guard and an insulation case installed in a work zone to stably support the pipe, the method comprising: a step of forming a pit with a predetermined depth; a step of installing a plurality of vertical beams perpendicular to an edge part of the pit and fixing and installing a horizontal beam on a top of the vertical beams adjacent to each other; a step of arranging a plurality of earth retaining plates between wall surfaces of the vertical beam and the pit, and arranging one of the earth retaining plates to allow a bottom end to be in contact with a protection guard, which surrounds a part of an outer surface of a pipe while a lower end is supported to a bottom surface of the pit; a step of inserting a repair pipe into the cut pipe; a step of fixing and installing a steam injection hose to one end of the repair pipe and then primarily supplying steam into the repair pipe to soften the repair pipe; a step of fitting and fixing a closing cap with a steam injection hole to both ends of the repair pipe, secondarily pressurizing and supplying steam into the repair pipe through the steam injection hole, and pressing and expanding the repair pipe to allow the repair pipe to be attached and fixed on an inner surface of the pipe by the pressurized and supplied steam; a step of cooling the repair pipe attached and fixed on the inner surface of the pipe in order to separate the closing cap from both the ends of the repair pipe; a step of preheating a thermal bonding heat plate to be heated up to a preset temperature inside an insulation case; and a step of allowing the thermal bonding heat plate separated from the insulation case to be in contact with an end part of the repair pipe protruding from the pipe so as to thermally bond the repair pipe to a connection flange.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
