The present invention relates to a ladder frame safety testing apparatus and a ladder frame safety testing method using the same. The safety testing apparatus comprises: a main body; a support member installed in the main body, supporting a pair of vertical poles of the ladder frame so as to face each other in a vertical direction, and performing the support such that one end of the vertical pole protrudes outward by a predetermined length; a fixing member installed on the support member and fixing the other side of the vertical pole; a pressing member pressing one terminal end of the vertical pole protruding from the support member such that a load set in a direction of gravity acts; and a measuring member measuring a vertical width deformation value of one terminal end of the vertical pole in accordance with the pressing of the pressing member. It is possible to ensure the basic data necessary for standardization of safety evaluation of a ladder frame for scaffolding and ensure stiffness and bending property analysis techniques for a ladder frame for scaffolding which is a basis for establishing a new scaffold ladder frame design standard for cost reduction.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
