The present invention relates to an S-100 standard information transmission data simplification method and a computer-readable recording medium recording thereof. The method comprises the following steps: (a) organizing and cataloging additional catalog items, combining and converting them into an object catalog, by an object catalog unit; and (b) identifying, by a data set unit, the object by receiving the converted object catalog, and converting a data set, which is a set of the identified objects and attributes, into the length value of the catalog item. According to the present invention, through the catalog conversion and data set conversion process of large volume data of S-100 standard information, preventing reception of information unrelated to a ship such as non-navigation-related messages and error messages among conventional marine safety information can be possible, thereby simplifying data transmission in a marine communication.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
