The present invention relates to a coal dust scattering suppressing device for suppressing scattering of dust, generated in a process for unloading coal from a coal carrier. The coal dust scattering suppressing device comprises: a vertical boom installed in a bucket elevator of a continuous ship unloader, covering a vertical section of the bucket elevator, and configured to be rotated around a driven shaft; a rotating reel inserted into a sight edge of the vertical boom and installed; an electric reel installed to be spaced apart in parallel to the rotating reel; a pipe installed vertically along an outer side of the vertical boom, and with which an injection nozzle is coupled to face an exposed portion of a bucket elevator in upper and lower portions of the vertical boom; an injection pump for receiving and pumping a dust inhibitor; and a hose having one end wound in the rotating reel to be connected to the pipe, and the other end wound in the electric reel to be connected to the injection pump.
