The present invention relates to a polymer produced in a reaction of polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) containing a functional group enabling chemical coupling with sulfur in a molecular structure with the elemental sulfur (S) and a preparing method thereof. More specifically, the preparing method includes a step of heating a mixed solution prepared by mixing the elemental sulfur (S) and POSS in a solvent in order to form a polymer.
