Disclosed are a blockchain system and a data management method using a blockchain. The blockchain system of the present invention, in a blockchain system in which one block includes one data and two or more data are managed, wherein the data is divided into first type data which is not based on other data and second type data which is based on the first type data, includes: a main branch including first type blocks containing the first type data, wherein the first type blocks are connected in the order of generation of blocks; and at least one sub-branch including second type blocks containing the second type data, wherein the second type blocks are connected by using at least first type block as a root block. The at least one sub-branch includes at least one second type block including the root block which is the first type block and second type data based on the first type data included in the root block, and at least one second type block of the one sub-branch is connected according to a block generation order and a second type block firstly generated in the one sub-branch is connected to the root block.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
