The present invention relates to a cylinder band (10) for inspecting a 154 KV gas insulated switchgear (GIS) mechanism that separates the cylinder band while the piston (4) is inserted into the cylinder (1), which is fixed to surround a piston ring (6) installed on the outer surface of a piston (4) inserted into a cylinder (1) to prevent separation of the piston ring (6) before the piston (4) is inserted. According to the present invention, the cylinder band (10) comprises: a band main body (100) formed to be divided into first and second main bodies (110, 120) each having pushing projections (111, 121) erected on contact surfaces (112, 122) adhering on the upper surface of a piston ring (6) to be caught by an end of an inlet of a cylinder (1); and a hanging part (300) for fastening the first and second main bodies (110, 120) to fix the band main body (100) in a shape of surrounding the piston ring (6).
