The metal phosphinate is an amount that acts as a crystallizing agent when melt-blowing a thermoplastic polymer material into one or more fibers, (a) decreasing the viscosity of the polyester polymer and (b) at least promoting crystallization of the polyester polymer. The fibers fabricated from the present process can be used to make nonwoven and woven fibrous structures.
