The present invention relates to a technique for measuring partial discharge. More specifically, provided are a device for measuring high-voltage direct current (HVDC) cable partial discharge, which measures a partial discharge signal through a sensor installed in a cable, and a method thereof. According to the present invention, partial discharge is divided into a frequency analysis mode, a partial discharge pulse analysis mode, and a time difference analysis mode, and simultaneous measurement in 8 channels in each mode is possible, so that HVDC cable partial discharge measurement is easy in accordance with an insulator type.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
