A method for evaluating 3D perceived fatigue based on the pupil response by a non-contact method is described. The evaluation method includes: acquiring a pupil image from a subject exposed to a target stimulus; calculating a task evoked pupillary response (TEPR) from the pupil image; detecting a positive dominant peak in a waveform of the TEPR; The latency of the peak is extracted, and the latency period is compared with a reference value to determine whether or not the subject has perceived fatigue.
