The present invention relates to a portable oxygen generator and, more specifically, to a portable oxygen generator which can be used by being combined with a gas mask, an oxygen mask and the like in preparation for emergencies such as a fire and a disaster that lead worries over loss of lives due to lack of oxygen, or fine dust. In other words, the portable oxygen generator is a device which uses a chemical mechanism for generating oxygen through a catalyst reaction to a reaction solution, thus, is stored in a stable state without generating oxygen at normal times but immediately generates oxygen by putting a catalyst into the reaction solution once a user presses a button in the case of emergencies or other situations requiring oxygen generation, thereby supplying oxygen into a gas mask or an oxygen mask. In addition, to achieve the above purpose, the portable oxygen generator comprises a catalyst storage container, an oxygen generation container, and an air filter container.
