The present invention relates to a task progress monitoring system associated with budget execution and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the task progress monitoring system associated with budget execution comprises: a function setting unit which sets a current research fund execution model curve function, which shows an execution rate of research fund in accordance with a period progress rate of a research task, a target research fund execution model curve, which shows a target execution rate of research fund in accordance with a period progress rate of the research task, and a first standard model curve function, which shows a target progress rate of research fund in accordance with a period progress rate of the research task, which is set by supposing that a period coming under a pre-set first ratio will be delayed with a total execution period of the research task as a standard from the target research fund execution model curve function; and a selection unit which selects a research task whose execution rate of research fund equals or is lower than the research fund execution rate, which is the value of the first standard model curve function, from among the tasks having a pre-set range of period progress rate at a specific point of time. The present invention aims to increase the research fund execution rate and secure a maximum of research profits.
