A terminal device and an application for notification based on a social context recognition are disclosed. It is an object of the embodiments of the present invention to provide a terminal device capable of managing notifications so as to minimize disturbance of social interaction without requiring conscious effort of the individual or restricting use of the terminal device, and an application using the terminal device .
