METHOD FOR CONNECTING CIRCULAR COLLAR AND STRAIGHT COLLAR OF HANBOK

The present invention relates to a method for connecting a circular collar and a straight collar of Hanbok and, more specifically, to a method for connecting a circular collar and a straight collar of Hanbok including a straight collar, a thin white cloth-covered paper collar attached to inner and outer sides of an upper part of the straight collar, and a circular collar. The method for connecting a circular collar and a straight collar of Hanbok comprises the following steps of: preparing fabrics corresponding to each of an outer panel and an outer gusset for an outer fabric, an outer panel and an outer gusset for an inner fabric, a straight outer collar and a straight collar inner fabric corresponding to the straight collar, a circular outer collar and a circular collar inner fabric corresponding to the circular collar; sewing the straight collar having one edge part of a circular strip shape on both surfaces of the inner fabric; connecting the outer fabric to one side of the inner fabric; and sewing the circular collar having one end and the other end in different directions and having one side between one end and the other end of a curved strip shape on an upper end of both surfaces of the outer fabric. The step of sewing the circular collar further comprises the following steps of: locating a curved part of the circular outer collar to be correspond to a curved part of the straight collar inner fabric with the outer fabric interposed between the circular outer collar and the straight outer collar, and sewing the circular outer collar and the straight collar inner fabric onto the outer fabric along a lower end line of the circular outer collar; and sewing an edge part to allow the circular collar inner fabric to correspond to the circular outer collar with the outer fabric and the outer gusset for the inner fabric interposed between the circular collar inner fabric and the circular outer collar by arranging the circular collar inner fabric on a rear surface of the outer fabric and a front surface of the outer gusset for the inner fabric. Therefore, outer appearance is seen as a clothing overlapping structure of wearing a circular collar on the outside while wearing a middle end of a straight collar on the inside, which is a traditional method, thereby providing a traditional aesthetic sense. Also, an outer gusset of an outer fabric where a straight collar and a circular collar are separated, is filled with an inner fabric, thereby increasing the degree of aesthetic completion.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
