The present invention relates to an energy optimization system of a demand response resource in water and sewage works. An energy optimization system of a demand response resource in water and sewage works according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: at least one energy manager monitoring and controlling at least one load to operate water and sewage works of a customer; an energy management system server communicating with the at least one energy manager to store information with respect to power consumption of the load; and a demand response server communicating with the at least one energy manager, and transmitting information regarding demand reduction requested from the outside to the energy manager. Here, the demand response server calculates information to perform demand reduction by at least one energy manager, and transmits demand reduction information to the energy manager. Furthermore, the information can be calculated by using information regarding at least one between a reduction amount and a demand reduction performing time of demand reduction which can be performed by at least one energy manager. Therefore, according to the present invention, when a reduction request regarding energy utilization corresponding to demand response arrives from the demand response (DR) server, reduction thereof can be controlled corresponding to the characteristics of the load arranged at each consumer, thereby effectively optimizing energy used in households.
