The present invention relates to a method for producing a steel gypsum panel (SGP) and an SGP produced by the production method and, more specifically, to a method for producing an SGP, which is produced by attaching colored zinc with a steel sheet and a gypsum board in the field, is processed in order that the colored zinc is easily bonded with an end shape of the steel sheet, fills a gap using a fire protection filler against the gap generated during the bonding after attaching the gypsum board, and then applies a thermal expansion tape, thereby reducing the assembling gypsum board by one layer compared with conventional SGP panels to reduce material costs, construction costs, and a construction period.
