An adapting device according to the present invention comprises: an interface unit which is connected to an arbitrary communications module through first and second signal lines and is configured to receive and transmit a bit signal through each of the first and second signal lines; and a link control unit which is configured to form data of a frame of a specific format determined by a first communications method from bit signals received from the communications module through the first signal line into a frame of an arbitrary format determined by a second communications method so as to transmit the same through a bus, and detect data of the frame of the arbitrary format from a signal loaded on the bus to store the same in a buffer. Also, the interface unit transmits the data stored in the buffer to the communications module through the second signal line in a frame form of the specific format, realizes the width of a pulse section at a predetermined position from a signal corresponding to a first frame of the specific format which is first received from the communications module after power is applied to the adapting device, identifies a bit rate at which the communications module transmits and receives data based on the realized width, and applies the identified bit rate to data communications with the communications module.
