The present invention relates to an experimental apparatus for evaluating the behavior and fire resistance of a beam under the condition where thermal expansion in an axial direction and rotation of the ends of the beam are concurrently restricted, the experimental apparatus includes beam end restriction devices, which have a spring and are positioned on both ends of a tested object so that axial restriction and rotational restriction occur at the ends of the tested object, thereby obtaining an accurate experimental value. The experimental apparatus is for evaluating the behavior and fire resistance of a tested object in a fire by heating the tested object while applying a vertical load to the tested object. The experimental apparatus comprises a heating furnace body, a first reaction stand, a second reaction stand, a beam end restriction device, an intermediate connection member, and a deformation measuring device. The heating furnace body has a hexagonal shape with an upper open part thereof and includes a heating space part therein and tested object seating grooves on the upper ends of both side walls thereof. The first reaction stand is configured to be spaced away from one exterior side of the heating furnace body. The second reaction stand is configured to be spaced away from the other exterior side of the heating furnace body. The beam end restriction device includes: an axial restriction device installed at the center to restrict the tested object, which expands in the axial direction by being heated; and rotational restriction devices installed on the upper and lower ends thereof to restrict the tested object contracted and expanded in a rotational direction by being heated and receiving a load. The intermediate connection member prevents heat from being transferred from the tested object, which has been heated, to the beam end restriction device. The deformation measuring device is installed at the beam end restriction device to measure the amount of deformation.
