Provided is a method for predicting a pulmonary disease performed in an apparatus for predicting a pulmonary disease. The method for predicting comprises the step of: obtaining a three-dimensional computed tomography image based on a two-dimensional computed tomography image photographed for each position from a first patient; dividing the three-dimensional computed tomography image into regions for a fractal analysis; calculating a fractal dimension value indicating fractal complexity of the divided three-dimensional computed tomography image for each region of the three-dimensional computed tomography image; generating high dimensional data including additional information in the fractal dimension value for each region; and generating current state information of the first patient based on the complexity of the high dimensional data.
