The computer receives asynchronous information originating from the optical sensor 10 in which the pixel matrix is placed facing the scene. The asynchronous information includes, for each pixel of the matrix, successive events that originate from this pixel and that follow the light change in the scene. For the evaluation space p and the evaluation time t in the pixel matrix, the computer generates an event set < RTI ID = 0.0 > (S p, t ), this set has at most one event per pixel in the spatial neighborhood. The computer quantizes the variation of the selected set of event occurrence times as a function of the position of the pixel in which these events occur in the matrix.
