The present invention relates to a Lactobacillus pentosus SRCM 101105 strain having an antibacterial activity and a probiotics characteristic, and a usage thereof. Lactobacillus pentosus SRCM 101105 strain of the present invention has characteristics of probiotics such that the present invention can be useful as medicine for intestinal disorders and is considered as a useful strain used as a starter strain for manufacturing fermented food having a good quality and used in an antibacterial agent for harmful microorganisms such as Bacillus cereus, Bacillus sphaericus, Enterococcus faecium, Listeria ivanovii, Listeria monocytogenes, Streptococcus mutans, Enterococcus aerogenes, Escherichia coli, Shigella flexneri, and Micrococcus luteus.
