The present invention relates to a fuse resistor assembly and a manufacturing method thereof which can maintain sturdy coupling of a resistor and a fuse. According to the present invention, the fuse resistor assembly comprises: a resistor including a resistor rod, first and second resistor caps positioned on both ends of the resistor rod, a resistor wire to connect the first and second resistor caps, and a conductive resistor lead wire connected to the first resistor cap; and a fuse including a fuse rod, first and second fuse caps positioned on both ends of the fuse rod, a fusible body coated on the fuse rod to electrically connect the first and second fuse caps and to be disconnected by overcurrent, a conductive first fuse lead wire connected to the first fuse cap, and a conductive second fuse lead wire connected to the second fuse cap. The resistor rod includes a hollow space wherein one side thereof is opened in a longitudinal direction and the other side thereof is closed. The second resistor cap includes a cap hole corresponding to a hollow section of the hollow space. The fuse rod, the first and second fuse caps, and the first fuse lead wire of the fuse are inserted along the hollow space and the cap hole, and the first fuse lead wire is bent to join one end thereof to the first fuse cap and join the other end thereof to the second resistor cap.
