The present invention relates to a multipurpose sliding window for a balcony, having a height control type finishing panel and a seismic structure. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a multipurpose sliding window for a balcony capable of providing a support force and absorbing impact to prevent the window from being separated from a handrail due to a large impact such as generated during an earthquake. The multipurpose sliding window for a balcony finishes space between the handrail and the window with a finishing panel in which the length is controlled without additional tile work when the window is installed in a balcony. An existing window (1) has a coupling groove (100) at a lower end of an indoor side. The coupling groove (100) comprises: a first coupling groove (101) for a window fixing unit; and a second coupling groove (102) for a finishing panel unit. A variable finishing and seismic frame (10) comprises: a window fixing unit (11) coupled to the first coupling groove (101) by a coupling protrusion (110); a bottom support unit (12) installed in the window fixing unit (11) and supporting the bottom by being in contact with the bottom while the height is changed; an elastic unit (13) providing an elastic force by being installed between the window fixing unit (11) and the bottom support unit (12); and the finishing panel unit (14) coupled to the second coupling groove (102) by the coupling protrusion (140). The variable finishing and seismic frame (10) is coupled to protrude toward the lower bottom (510). The multipurpose sliding window for a balcony finishes the handrail without tile construction and absorbs earthquake impact.
