According to the present invention, a lifting device for an adaptive ocean current generator with improved structural reliability comprises: a main body including a generator and a turbine rotor for ocean current generation to produce electric energy, and having set buoyancy; an extension support member installed on a lower portion of the main body to adjust a length thereof, and fixed on the seabed to support the main body; and a pressing member which is installed on the extension support member, and allows the length of the extension support member to be adjusted while changing a volume thereof in accordance with a water depth change. An underwater height of the main body is automatically adjusted without power in response to a water depth change by relatively inexpensive manufacturing costs. Therefore, a constant gap between the main body and the surface of the sea can be maintained by an operating structure of high reliability. Accordingly, the main body can perform efficient power generation at a position optimized for ocean current generation.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
