The present invention relates to a client terminal apparatus capable of propagating an editing command based on a blockchain in a document collaborative editing environment and an operating method thereof. According to the present invention, when a predetermined editing command is generated to be applied onto documents by a user, editing command distribution in a peer-to-peer method is performed not to use a management server of managing collaborative editing of the documents for propagating the editing command wherein the peer-to-peer method allows the editing command to generate blockchain-based block data included in a transaction and propagate the same to client terminal devices of other users, thereby minimizing a load added to the management server.
