Disclosed are a method and apparatus for predicting mileage of an electric vehicle. According to an embodiment, a driving route and a driving pattern are input, and first coefficients according to a road environment and a driving situation are determined based on the driving route and the driving pattern, and second preset coefficients are set according to characteristics unique to the electric vehicle. The driving distance of the electric vehicle is predicted by applying the first coefficients and the second coefficients to the electric vehicle power consumption model.
