The present invention relates to a biomass-based filler for a polymer composite with a carbon dioxide adsorption function, a manufacturing method thereof and uses thereof. The biomass-based filler for a polymer composite with a carbon dioxide adsorption function is produced by treating biomass having cellulose with a periodate-based reagent to cut a glucose ring structure in a cellulose chain, forming 2,3-dialdehyde cellulose having two aldehyde functional groups and forming a covalent bond of an amine group of a polymer with the carbon dioxide adsorption function to the aldehyde functional group.
