Provided are a plant cultivator which can save energy for operating an air conditioner by controlling an air conditioning environment using humid air naturally generated by a culture medium, and can accurately control the air conditioning environment based on the Internet of things (IoT), and to a plant cultivation system thereof. The plant cultivator of the present invention comprises: a case having a cultivation space; a tray disposed in the cultivation space; a culture medium module for supplying a culture medium to the tray; and an air conditioning module including an air passage for circulating air in the cultivation space. The tray includes a main body in which the outside thereof is in contact with the cultivation space and having a plurality of capsules disposed therein, and the inside thereof has a chamber for accommodating the culture medium formed therein. Also, humid air of the chamber flows into the cultivation space through a first channel.
