According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, disclosed are methods, kits and compositions for detection, which allow the simultaneous and rapid detection of pathogenic Escherichia coli, by extracting a nucleic acid from a sample, amplifying the same using real-time PCR, and analyzing the fluorescence signal generated by hybridization of the amplified target nucleic acid with a PNA probe containing a fluorescent substance by temperature, thereby confirming that the same nucleotide sequence as specific gene markers of enteropathogenic Escherichia coli (EPEC) and enteroinvasive Escherichia coli (EIEC) appears.
