The present invention relates to: a novel compound having amphiphilic properties, containing a nitrogen-atom ring; and a method for manufacturing the same. The novel compound of the present invention is very effective as an active component of a surfactant which can maintain a form of a sample for a long time in nucleic acid analysis or blood analysis.
