Method and Apparatus for Connection Admission Control in Cognitive Radio Network

Disclosed are a method for controlling session connection in a cognitive wireless network and a device for the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a session connection control method comprises the steps of: a primary user detection step of detecting a primary user spectrum to calculate a primary user activity rate (PU_on rate); a secondary user detection step of calculating the total available bandwidth (C_SU) of a secondary user network and estimating the number of participating secondary users (n_est) of the secondary user network; an available bandwidth estimation step of estimating an individual available bandwidth (C_SU_IND) of each secondary user by using the total available bandwidth (C_SU) of the secondary user network and the number of the participating secondary users (n_est); and an admission control step of calculating the number of time slots (k_max) which can be respectively transmitted by each of the secondary users based on the individual available bandwidth (C_SU_IND), and controlling session connection based on the number of time slots (k_max).
