The present invention relates to a composition for diagnosing scrub typhus and a method for diagnosing scrub typhus using the composition. Specifically, the composition for diagnosing scrub typhus detecting a Bor27 kDa protein or an antibody to the protein according to the present invention not only exhibits a sensitivity similar to that of a 56 kDa size protein used in the prior art, but also shows significantly better selectivity than using a 56 kDa size protein, and thus can be usefully used for diagnosing scrub typhus.
