The present invention relates to a novel tetrapeptide derivative and a composition for anti-red tide or anti-bacteria comprising the same. The tetrapeptide derivative of the present invention is excellent in anti-red tide effect that selectively inhibits only toxic or harmful red tide organisms except harmless or non-toxic red tide organisms. In addition, the present invention is excellent in antibacterial activity that effectively inhibits gram-negative bacteria, gram-positive bacteria and antibiotic resistant strains. In addition, the present invention is derived from a decomposition product of Scomber japonicus waste liquid, can provide a method for recycling fish waste liquid and is economical, thereby capable of being usefully used in related industries.
