Disclosed are a portable device based on an ultraviolet ray index (UVI) sensor to support safe daylight exposure and an erythemally weighted UV radiation-B (EUVB) calculation method using same. According to an aspect of the present invention, the portable device based on an UVI sensor to support safe daylight exposure allows a user to easily provide a peripheral UV index and EUAB information through a portable device so as to support healthy outdoor activities through prevention of damage caused by UV exposure.
