A personal information management system based on block chains and the method thereof

The present invention relates to blockchain based personal data managing system and method. The system comprises: a blockchain network which is composed of a plurality of peers, retains a blockchain ledger where each peer records a transaction message as a block, and synchronizes blockchain ledgers of all peers; a request server which has one peer (hereafter, a first peer) contained in the blockchain network, generates a transaction message (hereafter, information request message) requesting personal data, and transmits the same to the first peer; an authentication server which has another peer (hereafter, a second peer) contained in the blockchain network, receives consent to providing personal data from a user terminal to generate a transaction message (hereafter, providing consent message) representing information providing consent, and transmits the providing consent message to the second peer; and a providing server which has another peer (hereafter, a third peer) contained in the blockchain network, generates a transaction message (hereafter, information providing message) containing personal data, and transmits the information providing message to the third peer. According to such system and method, the request server, the authentication server and the providing server configure dedicated nodes of the blockchain network and build only processing functions of message events of nodes, and transmit and receive personal data through the blockchain network such that a development cost is minimized and a scalability can be maximized.
