Material is introduced in a stirred state in a portion of standard liquid oil or grease used in said friction unit, running-in of assemblies with formation of surfaces from mineral material under working pressure for this unit is performed at normal mode of car operation at speeds of not more than 60 km/h for 15 minutes for passenger cars and 30 minutes for large trucks.EFFECT: technical result is increase in shrinkage ratio (compression) in each of engine cylinders by not less than 5 N/cm, reduced noise and vibration of operation of engine and other units, change of dynamic characteristics of vehicle, in particular, reduced acceleration time to assigned speed.1 cl, 3 ex
