FIELD: biotechnology.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biotechnology, particularly to a method for protein synthesis in cultures of bacterial cells. Method involves modifying the cell surface by layer-by-layer adsorption of the oppositely charged polymers and subsequent thermostating of the cell culture. Cell culture is used in amounts of 10–10CFU/ml. Prior to application and after application of polymers cells are washed with solutions with ionic strength in range of 0–0.155 mol/l. Positive charged polymer used is polylysine, protamine sulfate, polyallylamine hydrochloride, polyethyleneimine, polydiallyldimethylammonium chloride or chitosan. Negatively charged polymer used is alginate, hyaluronic acid, polyacrylic acid, sodium polystyrene sulphonate, polylactic acid, polyglutamic acid or cellulose sulphate. Concentrations of polymers are selected in range of 0.1–10 mg/ml. Cells are incubated in polymer solution for 4–15 minutes. If centrifugation is used, the reaction volume of the mixture is selected in range of 0.5 ml – 1 l and centrifuged in range of 700–10,000 g for 30 s – 5 minutes. In the case of filtration, the reaction volume of the mixture is selected in range of 1–50 l and filtering materials with pore size of at least 0.45 mcm are used.EFFECT: invention allows to increase the amount of synthesized protein in different types of cultures of bacterial cells without reducing cell survival.1 cl, 4 dwg, 4 ex
