FIELD: optics.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical technology and can be used as an element of optical isolation on the Faraday effect for lasers with a sub-watt average radiation power. Isolator contains a magneto-optical rotator installed in a magnetic system and representing a magneto-optical element of disk shape, as well as a polarizer and analyzer placed outside the magnetic system from the side of one of the end surfaces of the magneto-optical element used for input and output of laser radiation. Reflective coating is applied on the opposite end surface of the magneto-optical element, which is in thermal contact with the magnetic system. Magnetic system is made of a coaxially magnetized disk, a coaxially magnetized ring and a radially magnetized ring.EFFECT: increase the maximum allowable working capacity while maintaining a given degree of isolation.1 cl, 1 dwg
