The present invention relates to non-staining topical gel compositions of nimesulide. It also provides the processes for preparation of such compositions. Furthermore, the invention relates to the use of these compositions for the treatment of pain and inflammatory symptoms associated with muscle-skeletal system, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
