METHOD OF TREATMENT OF MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS (OPTIONS)

An invention relates to methods of multiple sclerosis treatment by injecting somatotropin to a subject who needs it, in amount of from 0.05 to 0.5 IU/kg of the body weight of the subject daily once or twice a day, or by injecting or oral administration of insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) in amount of from 50 to 500 µg/kg of the body weight of the subject daily once or twice a day, or the administration of a physiological inducer of somatotropin and/or IGF-1 in a therapeutically effective amount. These methods are effective and safe in terms of side effects. Moreover, the appropriate therapeutic use of these active substances is proposed.
