A method for the oriented insertion of pedicle screws when correcting a congenital deformity of the spine in children with an isolated vertebral anomaly, characterized in that the angulation of the screws is selected during the formation of bone canals in the vertebral bodies. The technical result is achieved in that pedicle screws are inserted in the vertebrae lying directly above and below the anomalous vertebral body on the convex and concave sides of the deformity such that, on the convex side of the deformity, the axis of the screw in the vertebra above the anomalous vertebra is oriented at an angle of 10 degrees in the sagittal plane toward the upper endplate, and the axis of the screw in the vertebra below the anomalous vertebra is oriented at an angle of 10 degrees in the sagittal plane toward the lower endplate; on the concave side of the deformity, the axis of the screw in the vertebra above the anomalous vertebra is oriented at an angle of 10 degrees in the sagittal plane toward the lower endplate, and the axis of the screw in the vertebra below the anomalous vertebra is oriented at an angle of 10 degrees in the sagittal plane toward the upper endplate.
